NEIGHBOURS twins Christina and Caroline look unrecognisable now after stepping back from acting to chase a new career path.
Gillian and Gayle Blakeney played the much-loved identical sisters on the Australian soap back in the 1990s when they were in their early 20s.

Identical duo Gillian and Gayle are now 57 years old - and both live in California, USA, with their respective partners and children, remaining close.
They enjoyed a brief music career following their two-year stint on the soap, releasing song All Mixed Up under the title The Twins in 1992.
The pair followed up a year later in 1993, rebranding as Gayle & Gillian to release their second song Mad If Ya Don't, which reached number 75 in the UK chart.
Gillian, who is the younger of the twins by a nine-minute difference, is now a mother-of-one to daughter Stella.
She gave birth seven weeks after her sister Gayle, who welcomed her first child - a son named Jack- back in 2004 with her husband.
Gillian has kept busy as the co-founder of a scarf company Leigh and Luca, which has a number of celebrity clients including Mary Kate Olsen and Hilary Duff.
She married beau David in October 2021, in a private romantic ceremony, sharing photos from her special day showing off her delicate embroidered dress.
The twins remain so close still that Gayle's husband Mark - who she married in 2003 - walked Gillian down the aisle on her big day.
Gayle is a mother-of-three, having welcomed twins after her son, and she regularly sees her sister and her niece Stella.
The twins were spotted in 2022, celebrating their joint birthday at a family party, where they posed for sweet family photos.

On Neighbours, the Australian-born sisters were placed into witness protection after witnessing a murder soon after arriving on Ramsay Street.
Their complex storyline saw the sisters pretend to be one person, under the name Linda Giles, before their secret was found out by Paul Robinson.
Paul - played by Stefan Dennis - figured out their secret by noticing the subtle details between the pair after spending time with them both.
The sisters had plenty of love affairs and their fair share of dramas during their two-year stint before they departed from the show in 1992.
Gayle's character Christina stayed on briefly longer than her sister, having married Paul, as Caroline had also fallen for him and fled from the neighbourhood.
The pair returned for a three-episode stint in 2019 before quitting acting to focus on their family life and scarf business.
