JERSEY Shore star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino broke down in tears after learning son Romeo spiked a fever and would be staying in the hospital for monitoring.
His co-stars rallied around him and wife Lauren Pesce, praying and sending kind words via text.
During Thursday's episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Mike and Lauren learned their son would be staying a few extra days in the hospital for monitoring.
He held strong for his wife, but admitted during confessionals that he was struggling.
Mike said on the MTV show: “This has been the hardest thing I’ve gone through.
"I want to be strong for Lauren and strong for my family, hopefully everything will be okay in the end.”
Co-stars prayed as they heard the news.
Days later, Mike got word from the hospital that Romeo was cleared to head home.

He was overjoyed at the news and quickly took to daddy duties, changing diapers and supporting his wife Lauren.
Fans watching at home were equally thrilled for the reality star, with one writing: "The relief on Mike's face made me cry."
Lauren retweeted a clip from the show, : "He's truly the best husband, father & man in the world."
A second fan tweeted: "Baby Sitch coming home," with a crying photo.
Later in the episode, Lauren confessed: "That was just the hardest two weeks of my life."
She added: "I wouldn't have been able to get through all that without you."
In a confessional, she said she was "still in shock" from all that went down during her delivery.
Mike admitted: "I couldn't picture our lives without little Romeo."
He also said: "Family is living your best life."
BABY INCOMING
Mike and Lauren announced the arrival of their first child together in May 2021.
They shared the news on social media, after announcing that they were expecting during an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
"Romeo Reign Sorrentino," the couple captioned an Instagram post featuring their baby boy.
The baby was born weighing in at 6lbs, 8oz and measuring 19 inches.
Both the proud mom and dad shared a series of photos on their respective Instagram accounts.
They also announced his arrival on an Instagram account they created for him.
In one photo they shared, Lauren could be seen holding Romeo in her arms as she rested in a hospital bed.
Mike crouched on the ground next to her, smiling for the photo.
The gallery also featured a photo of each of the new parents solo with their baby.
Mike and Lauren first announced that they were expecting in November 2021.
Their announcement aired with the cast of the MTV show in February.
Mike cried as they shared the news on the show.
During a redo of Angelina Pivarnick's wedding to Chris Larangeira, The Situation addressed a crowd, saying: "I would like to thank my wife."
He went on, expressing gratitude for his wife's support, mentioning their "many amazing highs."
Lauren then chimed in, saying: "I have one more little thing I want to share with everybody here."
The mom-to-be reached for a towel, which had the words: "I'm Pregnant Too" printed on it.
