Inside Beat The Chasers stars’ homes from Shaun Wallace’s awards shelf to Anne Hegerty’s office and The Beast’s kitchen
BEAT The Chasers has returned with its revered line-up of quiz masters battling celebs who are trying to win cash for charity.
It has given us a double dose of our favourite TV brainiacs, aka The Beast, The Vixen, The Dark Destroyer, The Governess, The Sinnerman and The Menace.
It's also left us wondering where such great minds rest their weary heads, after taking down the likes of Carol Vorderman and Clive Mantle in the ITV spin-off series.
Shaun Wallace
Veteran Chaser Shaun Wallace is an original Chaser having featured on The Chase since the very beginning.
Before becoming a Chaser, Shaun enjoyed a long career as a barrister and lecturer.
In snaps on Instagram he can be seen at home in his jabot, also known by its less impressive name 'neck doily'.
After appearing in hundreds of episodes of the programme and even writing an autobiography about his time on the show, Shaun's built up an impressive fortune - he's estimated to be worth around £5million.
The TV favourite goes by the nickname of the Dark Destroyer, and having raked in the cash, he enjoys the fruits of his labour in his cosy north London home.
The period house is bursting with character, with an original fireplace surrounded by brick tiles, and shelves stacked with trophies from Shaun's quizzing career.
Anne Hegerty
Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess, joined in series two and has been a staple of the quiz show ever since.
The 63-year-old has also featured on Mastermind, Fifteen To One and the 2018 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Between her time on The Chase and her other television gigs, Anne's accumulated a net worth of approximately £2.8million.
Anne lives just north of London in Watford, not far from The Chase's Borehamwood studios.
During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine last year fans got a sneak peek inside her home office which features white walls, a rustic desk piled high with books and a leather chair.
A painting of a countryside park is mounted on one wall.
Jenny Ryan
Jenny Ryan penned questions for the pilot episode for The Chase back in 2009 but didn't join the show as a Chaser until 2015.
The multi-talented quiz expert, often referred to as The Vixen, is also a singer and came third in the 2019 series of The X Factor: Celebrity.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Jenny's worth an impressive £2.8million.
The 39-year-old has a classy home with wood floors, music artwork on the walls and hundreds of books.
The TV star hails from Bolton but rumour has it she moved south to be closer to work on The Chase.
Mark Labbett
Mark Labbett, 56, is no stranger to quiz shows having appeared as a contestant on several quizzing competitions.
Along with Shaun, Mark Labbett was one of the show's two original Chasers and is no doubt one of the most well known stars from the series.
He's also the only British Chaser to appear on the American version of the programme.
The 56-year-old, also known as The Beast, is thought to be worth around £1.4million.
He used to live with ex-wife Katie but they split in 2020 after six years of marriage.
Now Mark resides in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and has shown off his cosy countryside home during TV interviews.
In a recent chat with This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield he showed off his huge kitchen with plenty of pots and pans.
Mark's South Yorkshire home has neutral walls, plenty of antique silverware and cream sofas.
Paul Sinha
Former GP Paul Sinha is a staple of British quiz shows and has also appeared on University Challenge, Are You An Egghead?, The Weakest Link and more.
The 51-year-old also works as a comedian and is a regular at Edinburgh's iconic Fringe Festival.
Paul's net worth is estimated to be around £1million.
The 51-year-old, who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s, recently gave fans a glimpse inside the living room of his south London home.
He showed off his white walls and a cream leather sofa, while videos on Twitter have revealed a grand white piano in one corner.
Speaking about his London life in the past, Paul has said: “I live in a quiet suburban area of south London and I go to the pub and eat bacon sandwiches in a cafe.
“I don’t really live that celebrity lifestyle. It’s not me.”
Darragh Ennis
Darragh Ennis first appeared on The Chase in 2017 - as a winning contestant!
In 2020 the postdoctoral researcher and neuroscientist became the show's newest Chaser and has since been nicknamed The Menace by host Bradley Walsh.
He's made a big impression on screen but, as a new addition to the programme, his net worth is as yet unknown.

The Irish star is still holding down a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Oxford University.
He lives in the city with his and kids in a beautiful period property that boasts a conservatory, where he keeps bees.
