Property shown on the clip feature acres of land

A first look at the three-part series shows huge mansions surrounded by acres of manicured lawns and hedges, with a spectacular water fountain in the centre.

Kicking off on January 17, the eye-opening show follows four of Britain’s most prominent aristocratic dynasties.

With cameras given exclusive access to reveal what really goes on behind their closed doors, over one summer’s social season, the results are set to entertain many viewers.

While asset-rich, members of this exclusive group are often cash strapped, which leads to individuals taking on new challenges as they try to earn a crust.

Viewers will watch as Lord Ivar Mountbatten - who is related to both the Queen and the late Prince Phillip - and his husband James, gamble their reputation, and that of Michelin-starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, by hosting their first ever pop-up restaurant at their stately home of Bridwell.

But with tickets costing a whopping £165 per head, can the pair satisfy the appetite of 50 fine diners? Especially when they include Lord Ivar’s cousin, Princess Olga Romanoff.

As the clip shows a magician at work, 'sawing' a woman in half - one man states: "There's nothing toffs like more than a bit of silly entertainment."

Those tuning in will also see Lord and Lady Fitzalan-Howard attempt to help fund the exorbitant running costs of their 126-room home, the imposing Carlton Towers, by turning part of their 3,000-acre estate into a vineyard.

Serious about the job at hand, the cameras follow every step as the couple take a very hands on approach while trying to flog their beverage to the public.

But will the Fitzalan-Howards wine prove to be vintage, or just another sad bottle of plonk?

Keeping Up With The Aristocrats airs January 17, 9pm on ITV.
