EastEnders spoilers: Aaron Monroe confronted by police after Bobby Beale exposes his bomb plot

AFTER his shocking bomb plot failed, Aaron Monroe perhaps hoped he could get away without any legal repercussions.

Since his first appearance on the BBC One soap in October, 2021, Aaron (Charlie Wernham) has caused chaos in Albert Square as the long-running drama has explored racism and religion hatred in recent weeks.

Things took a dreadful turn on New Year's Eve when the far-right extremist and his group plotted for a bomb to detonate in Walford.

The plan failed after a last-minute intervention from Harvey Monroe (played by Ross Boatman) which saved both Dana Monroe - portrayed by Barbara Smith - and boyfriend Bobby.

Last Friday's episode opened with the revelation that Dana went to The Albert along with Bobby despite Aaron's warnings to stay away.

In an upcoming episode set to air on January 13, the aftermath of Aaron's plot slowly catches up with him.

While Harvey encourages his son to keep a low profile, Aaron insists on going to work.

The businessman is caught up by the hate group leader Neil who is convinced Aaron grassed up on them to the police and shows him a shocking video.

As Neil threatens to harm Dana, Harvey intervenes once again but Aaron manages to come up with a new plan to discredit Neil.

It turns out that his plan worked so well, Aaron is asked to take over Neil in Manchester.

But the leading dynamics within the group are the least of Aaron's worries.

After spilling a drink on Aaron at Ruby's, Bobby witnesses something that unnerves him and confides his fears in Dana.

Confronted by his sister, Aaron accuses Bobby of manipulating her and suggests she comes with him to Manchester.

Spurred by Aaron's words, Dana breaks up with Bobby... only leading him to retaliate by exposing Aaron further.

After a failed attempt at convincing Dana to stay in Walford, Bobby surprises her and Aaron by showing up at the last minute.

As the antagonist pressures his sister to leave, the police burst in and handcuff Aaron, Harvey alongside them.

What will come of Aaron after his arrest?

Will Dana and Bobby reconcile?
