Who is Abu Sabah?
BBC 2 IS unleashing Inside Dubai: Playground Of The Rich which follows the Middle-Eastern resort's glamorous locals, expats and tourists.
In the first episode, which airs tonight (January 3, 2021) we meet Abu Sabah.
Who is Abu Sabah?
While he was born as Balvinder Sahni, he is popularly known as Abu Sabah.
He is an Indian ex-pat who is just one of Dubai’s 52,000 millionaires.
Abu is the owner and chairperson of Property Development Firm Raj Sahni Group (RSG Group of Companies), which is one of the most profitable companies in the United Arab Emirates.
Abu entered the world of business at the age of 18 and has seen his career soar ever since.
He has achieved his ultimate goal after he bought himself the world’s most expensive number plate for a cool £6.8 million.
On BBC 2's Inside Dubai: Playground of the Rich Abu reveals: "It’s a single digit Dubai plate.
"The car is worth $800,000 dollars (£600,000) but the number plate is $9 million (£6.8 million). I feel proud of myself!"
