AMERICAN drama series Yellowstone has proved to be a big hit.
Set in Montana, the plot revolves around a Dutton family ranch and the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation, national park, and developers.
Where was Yellowstone filmed?
Although Yellowstone takes place in Montana, majority of the show was actually filmed in Utah.
According to Marshall Moore - Vice President of Operations and Marketing at the Utah Film Studios - over half of the show's first three seasons were filmed in his state.
Shots of various Utah towns are featured, including Heber City, Oakley, Kamas, Grantsville and Logan.
The ranch on the show, owned by fictional family the Duttons, is meant to border Yellowstone National Park.
