The French star now sports a darker tresses and looks miles apart from Mr Bean's crush.

The film starts with Mr Bean winning a holiday to France and sets out on his journey. However, when he unknowingly separates a father-son duo, he decides to reunite them.

On the way he discovers France, bicycling, and true love - where he meets actress Sabine and immediately falls in love.

Mr Bean and Sabine first meet when she spots him hitchhiking and offers to give him a lift on her way to 2006 Cannes Film Festival, where her debut film is to be presented.

At a service station they reunite with Stepan who was separated from his dad earlier in the film, and take him with them as they drive through the night.

At a gas station, Sabine sees on TV that she and Bean are suspected of kidnapping Stepan.

Instead of going to the police, Sabine disguises Bean and Stepan as her mother and daughter to gain entry to her premiere.

At the festival, Sabine is shocked to see that her role has been mostly trimmed from the film.

In usual Mr Bean fashion, he plugs his video camera into the projector replacing the movie with his video diary.

The comical character puts a smile back on Sabine's face as they all receive standing ovations and Stepan is reunited with his dad.

Emma, who was born in Paris, appeared in various advertisements before her first major film role in 1997 in Sylvie Verheyde's Un frère.

She also starred with Radiohead’s Thom Yorke in music video Knives Out back in 2001.

The actress publicly accused Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

She described Weinstein as a “hunter turned on by fear” after he allegedly cornered her in his hotel room.

She said they met at a film party in 2010 and he asked her to a meeting at the Ritz in Paris.

He brought her to his room to get a book, then appeared from the bathroom naked and aroused, telling her to lie on the bed.

Emma, 41, said: “I was petrified. I could feel the more I was freaking out, the more he was excited. It was like a hunter with a wild animal. The fear turns him on.”

She said he told her: “It’s like being in a Walt Disney movie.”
