Earlier this week, Isabel, 25, posted a photo of her newborn son Mateo on social media experiencing his first snow.

He was held up to the outdoors in an adorable teddy bear onesie, which Isabel posted a follow up story today explaining that the onesie was from Carter’s.

However, in both the original post and the follow up story, the newborn’s face was concealed as Isabel held him so the back of his head was facing the camera.

She called the moment “so magical” and Amy Roloff commented: “Cutest little bear.”

Most fans also agreed the moment was precious, but Isabel’s husband Jacob clapped back at a troll who had some issues with her post.

The user commented: “Just turn him around, what’s the problem?”

Jacob clapped back: “You.”

His protective comment racked up over 700 likes and fans rallied up behind Jacob to defend him and Isabel’s parenting decision.

CELEBRATING TWO WEEKS

In mid-December, Isabel shared another sweet snap of her son online.

She captioned the post: “I have a two week old.”

Isabel shared the photo to her Instagram Story.

Mateo was largely covered in the photo, but a portion of his outfit or blanket, as well as Isabel’s finger tips holding him, could be seen.

The post included a sticker that read: “I love you so, so hard, like the most ever.”

Isabel has shared many snippets of her son since his birth.

After his arrival, she shared a black-and-white photo of his fingers wrapped around hers.

She included several details of his birth, writing: “Mateo Tomás is here and he’s perfect. He came one week ago 12/4 at 12:40 am.”

NO PLANS

She revealed in her post that his birth didn’t go according to plan, writing: “Our birth story didn’t go as planned; as we know life rarely ever does.

“These past few weeks have show me what true surrender and trust looks like. I have never been more hands on my knees afraid and I have also never known. a love so big.

“Seeing Jacob as a father is the most heartwarming thing I have ever witnessed. Being a mother is the most myself I have ever felt.”

She continued: “Through all of this, I am just affirmed now more than ever that our angels are always looking out for us.”

Although the post didn’t feature a full look at the baby, fans and friend gushed over the child in the comments.

Tori Roloff, Isabel’s sister-in-law, commented: “Ahhh da wittle bingies!”

Audrey, who met Mateo recently, wrote: “I love him so much And you are a warrior Izzy. So much of motherhood is surrendering and trusting and you’ve already learned to do that with so much grace. I love you!”

Isabel has had some struggles since Mateo’s birth as well, admitting to feeling “lonely and isolated.”

‘BRIGHTER FUTURE’

Jacob celebrated feeling “free of burden” after sharing his “experience with child sex abuse.”

He opened up about his recent feelings of freedom one year after revealing the experience.

While taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Jacob shared a throwback photo of himself as a baby taken in April 1997.

The Little People, Big World alum looked adorable in a baseball cap and overalls as he rested on his stomach on a blanket outdoors.

He reflected on coming forward with his experience of child sex abuse in the caption, writing: “1 year and 11 days ago I posted my statement about my experience with CSA.

“I said, ‘I am certain that this is a positive moment for me, and another step toward a brighter future.’

“I’m happy to say that I meant it!”

Jacob continued: “I felt so free of a useless burden, felt so much closer to my ever-supportive wife, so much more open and confident to myself; on some level it allowed me to become a dad, to finally open that door. I’m so, so happy that I did and I love Mateo more than I could have guessed or hoped or dreamed.”
