EastEnders shock as Rocky left to die after suffering a heart attack in the street

EASTENDERS fans are in shock after Rocky was left to die after collapsing with a heart attack.

The conman - who is played by actor Brian Conley in the BBC soap - returned to the Square to get a keepsake from Sonia, despite being outed as lying Tom Cotton.

He went to Sonia’s house to let himself in and get it but was caught by Shirley Carter. 

But as Rocky got what he came for - Shirley demanded to see it.

He showed her the watch that Sonia had inscribed with ‘World’s Best Dad’.

Rocky then left with it, but on his way out of the Square he ran into Sonia and Martin.

A furious Martin screamed at Rocky and gave chase.

Rocky was knocked to the floor in the skirmish, but Martin stopped the attack when Sonia asked him to.

“Sonia’s right, Martin,” Kathy told them coming across the scene.

“Leave it. He ain’t worth it.”

As Rocky pulled himself to his feet, he stumbled off - but just yards from where he had last been rejected by Sonia and Kathy, he began to feel unwell.

Falling to the floor, he clutched his chest and it was clear he had another heart attack.

He was left to die, leaving fans in shock. 

One said: "Hope this is not the end of Rocky, I like him."

Another wrote: "Oh no rocky is brown bread"

A third mused: "If I didn’t know any better, I’d say Shirley was feeling a bit sorry for Rocky. Like she’s a saint or in a position to judge anyway. It was just a few months ago she hit Phil over the head and left him for dead and was pushing drugs on the side with Jean"
