ROCKHOPPER is hoping to be the star of the show on The Masked Singer.

Judges Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora and Johnathan Ross have remained tight-lipped about who is behind the mask.

Who is Rockhopper on The Masked Singer 2022?

Rockhopper's identity still remains aa mystery.

However, many fans are convinced Rockhopper is Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, after they mentioned 'jump' and 'love machine' in their VT.

Ahead of the shows launch, Davina gave away some clues about Rockhopper after an amazing performance.

She shared: "Rockhopper did a performance that was so lovely and afterwards we could see that Rockhopper was actually crying after their performance."

When is The Masked Singer 2022 on TV and how can I watch it?

The Masked Singer returned January 8, 2022 at 7pm on ITV and ITV Hub.

Jonathan Ross remained tight-lipped about the identities behind the mask.

The series will again invite viewers and the judges try to guess the famous faces behind the 12 costumes.

However he did hint there will be a few "real surprises"; in store for fans.

12 celebrities in costumes will sing anonymously with their identities concealed by the masks and costumes.

Following each performance, judges will give their feedback and guess who is behind the mask.

The singer with the least votes will then be up for elimination.

Hints will be given to for the viewers and judges to guess who the singing celebrity is.

The eliminated contestant will then have to remove their mask which is when the judges and viewers will find out who they are.

The show is based on a gameshow from South Korea called The King of Mask Singer.
