You can earn £500 just by watching Netflix and playing video games – but there’s a condition
NETFLIX fans rejoice, as the perfect job opportunity has just come up.
A generous sum of £500 is on offer for one lucky applicant who lands the dream role of watching TikTok, playing video games, and streaming movies all day long.
However, there is a catch - you'll need to be a pensioner to be eligible for the gig.
The unique position is exclusively available for OAP's, titled a "retirement tester" and it sounds incredible.
Money.co.uk are the ones behind the job, and they're on the lookout for a retired applicant who is keen to give life as a teenager a whirl.
This means they'll be testing out all of the most popular Gen Z hobbies in order to figure out which ones can also be enjoyed during retirement.
Whilst £500 for having some fun doesn't sound too bad at all, the successful applicant will have to put a fair amount of effort in, from trying out TikToks and vlogging their day to posting all of their meals to Instagram.
The experiment was inspired by the stereotype of OAP's only enjoying pastimes such as knitting, listening to the radio and solving jigsaw puzzles, and wants to prove they can also enjoy modern technology.

James Andrews of Money.co.uk said: "A New Year can signal a time many of us look to take up a new hobby or learn a new skill, but stereotypes have seemed to stay the same for what people of pensioner age can and can’t enjoy.
"With this new role, we want to show that those stereotypes no longer apply and that you’re only as old as you feel.
"Whether it’s creating a TikTok account or diving into the latest video games, we hope we provide some inspiration for pastimes pensioners could pick up in 2022, and look forward to finding our CE-OAP to rank these hobbies from best to worst."
Applications for the job will close on Janurary 7, 2022 and
