Strictly’s John Whaite set to become millionaire through endorsements

RUNNER-UP John Whaite is the financial winner of Strictly — as he is set to become a millionaire through endorsements, book deals and TV presenting.

Unlike champ Rose, he is not bound by BBC commercial rules so can immediately cash in.

The ex Great British Bake Off winner, 32, reached the final with pro partner Johannes Radebe, 34.

A TV insider said: “John has the winning combination of sex appeal, a bubbly personality and a huge profile thanks to Strictly.

"Crucially, he also has a cookery background, which means he has a skill that can be exploited in whatever work he takes on.”

John certainly seemed to have extra reason to celebrate on Saturday night as he left the Strictly studios with AJ Odudu at 3.45am.

The two finalists looked like they’d had a good time as they left in a cab along with Dan Walker, Nadiya Bychkova and Rose.

Bosses had scrapped the official after-party but it’s believed unofficial gatherings took place in dressing rooms.
