FIRST Dates star Fred Sirieix has revealed how he was left bleeding and vomiting after just ONE training session for the Strictly Christmas Special.
The Frenchman is taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing festive special, which airs on Christmas Day.
Fred, 49, has been partnered with Dianne Buswell and recorded the episode earlier this month.
Speaking about his three weeks of training while on today's This Morning, Fred admitted it had been a shock to the system from the very beginning.
He told hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond: "First day we trained for more than four hours and I was bleeding, my feet were bleeding and then I went back home and I was vomiting everywhere. My body couldn't take it."
When a surprised Dermot said he was a "fit guy", Fred replied: "I lost three kilos in three weeks of training, now I'm back to my fighting weight. I'm back to 75 kilos, it's insane.
"It's a high level sport performance and it was like I was representing France at the Olympics. I finally got my opportunity!"
The Strictly Christmas Special will also feature singer Anne-Marie, The Repair Shop's Jay Blades, presenter Mel Giedroyc, newsreader Moira Stewart and TV presenter Adrian Chiles.

Speaking about why he decided to take part, Fred said: "I was so scared and then the other thing is about confidence.
"I'm a confident guy I'm not shy, but although I'm confident I was thinking 'am I going to be confident and be able to pull it off on the day and just dance and enjoy the experience? Or am I just going to freeze and make silly mistakes?'
"And that's what I did it for."
Fred and Dianne will be performing the quickstep to Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin’ Stevens.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special airs on BBC One on Christmas Day at 5.10pm.
