The Royal Variety Performance line-up: Who is performing in 2021?

THE Royal Variety Performance will be held this week at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

This year's show will be celebrating its150th anniversary. Here's the line-up!

Presenter and treasured comedian Alan Carr is to host The Royal Variety Performance in the grand Royal Albert Hall in London.

Last year's performance was hosted by Jason Manford on December, 8, 2020.

This year's performance will mark the 109th event making it the world’s longest running entertainment show.

When is the Royal Variety Performance 2021?

The performance will take place on December, 19, 2021 from 7:20pm.

The evening will feature world class performers, theatre, incredible singers and top tier British comedy.

The acts will perform in the presence of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Who's in the line-up for the Royal Variety Performance?

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran has sold more than 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling musicians.

He has managed to have two of his albums listed as the best-selling albums in UK chart history.

He was named artist of the decade by the Official Charts Company in 2019 for his success in the UK album and singles charts throughout the 2010s.

James Blunt

James Blunt's first album 'Back to Bedlam' sold over 11 million copies worldwide.

The album topped the UK Albums Chart with his famous track "You're Beautiful" reaching number one in the UK, US and dozens of other countries.

Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie, has charted with hit singles including Clean Bandit's Rockabye, featuring Sean Paul, which peaked at number one, as well as Alarm, 2002, Ciao Adios, Friends and Don't Play.

Her debut studio album, Speak Your Mind, was released in 2018, and peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart.

She was nominated for four awards at the 2019 Brit Awards, including Best British Female Solo Artist.

Their biggest hit single King reached number one in the UK Singles Chart in March 2015.

The song peaked within the top ten of the charts in Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ireland and Switzerland.

Their single Shine reached number two on the UK Singles Chart.

Years & Years is now the solo project of Olly Alexander with the fellow band members leaving the group in early 2021.

Sir Rod Stewart has had 16 top ten singles in the US, with four of those singles reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Rod was knighted in the 2016 Queen's Birthday Honours for services to music and charity.

Actress Keala Settle and the Some Voices choir will also come together for a performance.

The star has also worked with for Les Miserables, Waitress and Hands on the Hardbody which secured her a Tony nomination.

Where can I watch the Royal Variety Performance?

The Royal Variety Performance 2021 will premiere on ITV1 on December, 19, 2021 from 7:20pm.

The proceeds from the evening will go towards the Royal Variety Charity, whose patron is Her Majesty The Queen.
