Little People’s Isabel Roloff reveals newborn son’s name as star shares first photo of child a week after giving birth
LITTLE People, Big World’s Isabel Roloff revealed her newborn son’s name in a new post.
The 25-year-old also posted the first photo of her child just one week after giving birth.
Isabel took to Instagram early on Saturday morning to share a black and white photo her son’s tiny hand wrapped around her finger.
She revealed his name in the , writing: “Mateo Tomás is here and he’s perfect. He came one week ago 12/4 at 12:40 am.”
After noting the “birth story didn’t go as planned,” the LPBW alum continued: “These past few weeks have shown me what true surrender and trust looks like.
“I have never been more hands on my knees afraid and I have also never known a love so big.
“Seeing Jacob as a father is the most heartwarming thing I have ever witnessed.
“Being a mother is the most myself I have ever felt.”
Isabel concluded: “Through all of this, I am just affirmed now more than ever that our angels are always looking out for us.”
Her husband, Jacob, also took to to introduce his followers to their son.
JACOB’S POST
Alongside a photo of a stork decoration holding a bag with their son’s name on it, the 24-year-old wrote: “My beautiful son was born one week ago early on December 4th. Mateo Tomás.
“I already feel an endless love and fierce protection for this boy.
“Mama Juj was an absolute superhero in the process, and my love and appreciation for her grows more every day.”
He concluded: “Mama and Mateo. My loves (Luna and Moose adjusted instantly).”
HONORING HER BROTHER
Isabel previously told fans she knew her baby’s name years before becoming pregnant.
It turns out the name is in honor of her late brother Tomas Garreton.
The musician passed away on September 3, 2012 at age 25 when he fell off a freight train.
Back in September, Isabel paid tribute to her late brother on the anniversary of his death.
She shared a throwback picture with her and Tomas in front of a Christmas tree, which she captioned: “Miss you forever. 9 years without this bear of a human.”
Isabel also posted a black-and-white pic, writing: “Walked the tracks for you.”
REVEALING THE BIRTH
The new parents revealed their son’s name one week after Jacob confirmed Isabel gave birth.
Jacob previously announced the news on , writing: “My wife is a superhero my son is an angel and all nurses are saints goodnight.”
Family matriarch Amy Roloff, 57, also seemed to confirm the exciting news as she posted a selfie on her Instagram Story, which she captioned: “I have my Christmas miracles and gifts – two more grandbabies.
“So much love for my kids/grandkids. Praise the Lord.”
