LET MUMMY ENTERTAIN YOU

Robbie Williams waxwork dummy cut from Madame Tussauds’ celeb section – and put in the chamber of horrors

MADAME Tussauds has cut Robbie Williams from its celebrity waxwork collection — and stuck him in the chamber of horrors.

The dummy of the ex-Take That singer, 47, has now been repurposed as The Mummy.

Creative director Justin East tells ITV documentary The Full Wax that the Blackpool and London attraction has to keep up with which stars are rising and which are fading.

He said: “With pop acts you don’t know how long they’re going to be hot for. It can be tricky.”

Robbie’s waxwork was unveiled when he was at the height of his fame in 2005.

It used to stand alongside the likes of megastars Madonna, David Bowie and Sir Elton John.

In the TV doc, airing on December 22, the recycled Robbie is seen lined up with Nosferatu, Hannibal Lecter and Freddie Krueger.

A spokesman for Madame Tussauds said: "The detailed celebrity wax head of Robbie would have been carefully retired and is in our library stores."
