Antiques Road Trip expert gets matching TATTOO with Towie’s Pete Wicks in shock moment on celeb special
PETE Wicks will get matching tattoos with a 74-year-old antique expert during a shocking moment on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip tonight.
Friday evening's episode of hit BBC factual series will see Pete inked after spending an “amazing couple of days” with Margie Cooper during filming.
Viewers will see the heavily-tatted former TOWIE star adding a "Margie" tattoo to his collection in homage to the former fashion model who has been a staple on the series since 2012.
Pete, 33, will be competing against best friend and Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson on the show, which sees famous faces travelling across the UK to uncover hidden treasures.
And in a surprising move, Margie also commits to having her first-ever tattoo - at the age of 74 - to mark her unlikely new friendship with Pete.
Viewers will see her emerging from the tattoo parlour with a prominent 'P’ inked on her arm.
Reflecting on their experience out on the road, Pete tells Margie: “I don’t think you genuinely realise how much I love you.
“We are now bonded for life and this is to commemorate what an amazing couple of days I’ve had with you.”
Later in the programme, after the results are revealed, Sam makes a suggestion to Pete: “Now we’ve done Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, we should actually go on a road trip just me and you.
"We should hire a car, one tent – I don’t think we need two – a couple of sleeping bags, and we’ll go up the country.”
But Pete clearly doesn’t think Sam will be as fun a road trip buddy as Margie, flatly replying: “No, absolutely not.”
The latest series of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip has featured appearances from stars including Danny Dyer, Jerry Hall and Rachel Riley.

Ahead of its conclusion later this month, viewers will see pairings including Mark Radcliffe and Edith Bowman and AJ and Curtis Pritchard heading out on the road.
In January 2020, BBC Two commissioned STV Studios to produce a tenth and eleventh series of the show as part of a bumper order which also included four series of sister show Antiques Road Trip.
Pete and Sam’s episode of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip airs on BBC Two and iPlayer on Friday, 3 December at 8pm.
