THIS Morning fans were left unimpressed as S Club 7’s Jo O’Meara took to the stage on today’s show.

The singer, 42, performed the band’s hit track Never Had A Dream Come True – but trolls brutally said her rendition “ruined their childhood”.

Jo braved the cold and appeared solo in the middle of This Morning’s forest and while most people loved hearing the song, not everyone was so enthused.

One person wrote: “Hello @metpolice. I’d like to report a crime; Jo murdering a classic on live TV #ThisMorning.”

A second added: “As a huge S Club fan back in the day, it pains me to say it, but bloody hell Jo is murdering this #ThisMorning.”

While a third added: “My f**king childhood. #ThisMorning.”

Others were much nicer, with one fan writing: “Wow @joomeara sounded absolutely great on #ThisMorning well done Hun Smiling face with 3 hearts.”

Someone else remarked: “Y ou smashed it hun you owned that stage on this morning programme the stage is where you belong am proud of you hun.” (sic)

S Club 7 was made up of Paul Cattermole, now 44, Tina Barrett, 44, Rachel Stevens, 43, Bradley McIntosh, 40, Hannah Spearritt, 40, Jon Lee, 39, and Jo.

They sold more than 10 million albums worldwide in the five years they were together, and their posters graced the walls of teens around the globe.

When they split in 2003, due to “creative differences”, Jo, from Romford, set about proving herself as a solo artist with her first album Relentless.

Her reputation was smashed to pieces in a moment after a controversial appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 saw her accused of racist and bullying behaviour towards Indian actress Shilpa Shetty (along with Jade Goody, Jackiey Budden and Danielle Lloyd).

Jo lost everything – including her career and her home – and suffered a breakdown.

She released a new album earlier this year.
