EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt already knows FOUR of his I’m A Celeb co-stars saying he & Simon Gregson will be ‘hysterical’

EASTENDERS star Adam Woodyatt already knows four of his I'm A Celebrity campmates.

The Ian Beale actor, 53 - revealed to be joining the castle at the end of tonight's episode - is set to be welcomed by several friendly faces.

Adam said he knew the pair of soap titans on the show - Emmerdale's Danny Miller and Coronation Street's Simon Gregson - plus two others.

The star said he couldn't wait to reunite with Danny, who he knows from celebrity football matches, insisting: "He's going to keep me entertained."

Asked by The Sun if he knew any of his co-stars, he explained: "I've played football with Danny Miller.

"Richard Madeley's interviewed me and I've met Arlene Phillips at Strictly donkey's years ago."

He added: "Danny Miller is going to keep me entertained, he is funny. He does some good impressions. I think he could be a laugh."

Referring to Simon Gregson - the other big name alongside Adam who was yet to join the show - he said they would be "hysterical together".

Speaking earlier today he said: "There's someone else who's been rumoured to be going in, I think possibly with me but I don't know for sure.

"If it is him, that's going to be hysterical because we've always got on when we've met up."

Adam added that another host of celebrities had given him advice on how to survive on the famously gruelling show.

Referring to Alfie Moon star Shane Richie, he said: "I spoken to my good mate Shane. He's given me a few [tips].

"Vicky Pattison has. I'll be honest I didn't actually ask them - I didn't want to know. I just wanted to go in and find out for myself.

"It would have actually quite liked it if I hadn't found out who the other 10 are."

The EastEnders veteran explained he is under instructions to cosy up to one hunky campmate, explaining: "My cousin Matt wants me to spoon David Ginola."

Asked by The Sun if he would do as he was told, Adam laughed: "I think I'd have to ask him first.

"I think it's got to be a consensual thing. He might be offended because I'm a Liverpool supporter and he's Spurs."

Adam took a break from the role of EastEnders Ian Beale and has been touring the UK in play Looking Good Dead.
