Trigger Point cast: Who stars in the ITV drama?

LINE of Duty star Vicky McClure plays a bomb disposal operative in the new ITV thriller Trigger Point.

Vicky McClure as Lana Washington

Victoria Lee McClure is a 38-year-old English actress, model and presenter.

She was born in the Wollaton area of Nottingham, where she currently lives with her partner, Welsh director Jonny Owen.

She is best known for her roles as Detective Inspector Kate Fleming in the BBC series Line of Duty, Lol Jenkins in This Is England and its Channel 4 sequel mini-series This is England '86, This Is England '88, and This Is England '90. 

Adrian Lester as Joel Nutkins

Adrian Anthony Lester CBE is a 53-year-old British actor, director, and writer. 

He is best known for seven seasons of the hit TV show Hustle (2004), The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and Primary Colors (1998) and his extensive classical work in the theatre playing Othello, Henry V, Rosalind and Hamlet.

He is married to actress and writer Lolita Chakrabarti and they have two children together.

Mark Stanley as DI Thom Youngblood

Mark Robert Speight, also known as Mark Stanley is a 33-year-old English actor.

He is best known for his portrayal of Grenn in the HBO series Game of Thrones.

He is also known for his roles in the films Kajaki and Our Kind of Traitor, and the series Dickensian.

Warren Brown as Karl Maguire

Warren Brown is a 43-year-old English actor and former professional Thai boxer.

He is best known for his roles as Donny Maguire in Shameless and Andy Holt in Hollyoaks, DS Justin Ripley in the BBC crime drama Luther.

He was nominated in 2014 for a Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal in Luther

Kerry Godliman as Sonya Reeves

Kerry Anna Godliman is a 48-year-old English comedian and actor. 

She was born in Perivale, West London, and trained at Rose Bruford College in South London.

Kerry is best known for Our Girl (2013), After Life (2019) and Adult Material (2020).

Cal MacAninch as Lee Robins SCO19

Cal MacAninch is a 57-year-old Scottish actor.

He is best known for Downton Abbey (2010), Calibre (2018) and Mr Selfridge (2013).

Cal is married to actress Shauna Macdonald and they have three children.

Manjinder Virk as Samira Desai SO15

Manjinder Virk is a 46-year-old British actress, director and writer.

She is best known for playing the lead in Clio Barnard's genre-defying film THE ARBOR and Peter Kosminsky's BRITZ (C4). 

Manjinder has also written and directed the short films Forgive (2008) and Out of Darkness (2013)

Ralph Ineson as Commander Bregman

Ralph Michael Ineson is a 51-year-old English actor and narrator.

His most notable roles include William in The Witch, Dagmer Cleftjaw in Game of Thrones, Amycus Carrow in the last three Harry Potter films, Donald Bamford in the BBC drama series Goodnight Sweetheart, Chris Finch in the BBC sitcom The Office, and Nikolai Tarakanov in the HBO historical drama miniseries Chernobyl.

He married Warpaint magazine editor Ali Milner in December 2009 and they share a son and daughter together.

Nadine Marshall as Marianne Hamilton

Nadine Panchita Marshall is a 50-year-old English television, stage, and radio actress.

She is best known for her performance as Sally in the British television sitcom, The Smoking Room. 

Pippa Haywood as Dr MacAndrew

Philippa Haywood is a 60-year-old English actress.

She won the 2005 Rose d'Or Award for Best Female Comedy Performance for Green Wing.

Pippa is best known for her appearances of Lorraine Craddock in the BBC television series Bodyguard.

Kris Hitchen as John Hudson

Kris is a 47-year-old English actor.

He is best known for Sorry We Missed You (2019), Four Lives (2022) and The War Below (2021). 

He is married to Sherry Hitchen since March 28, 1997 and they have one child together.

When does Trigger Point start?

Trigger Point makes an explosive drop onto our screens on Sunday, January 23 at 9pm on ITV.

The new Sunday night drama has a total of six episodes that will air continuously throughout January and February.
