I’m A Celeb’s Danny Miller breaks huge show rule before he’s even entered camp – by getting advice from an ex show star
I’M A Celebrity’s Danny Miller has broken a HUGE show rule before he’s even entered the camp – after getting secret advice from a former show star.
The 30-year-old is one of 10 celebs heading into the famous castle on Sunday, having played Aaron Dingle on Emmerdale for the last 13 years.
Before their names are officially announced by ITV, contestants aren’t supposed to tell anybody that they are going on the show.
However, Danny revealed he broke this strict rule by seeking advice from best pal Adam Thomas, who came third on I’m A Celeb in 2016.
In fact, the actor even admitted that he feels like he is a “step ahead” his co-stars due to the insight Adam was able to give.

He explained: “I confided in Adam about me taking part as he is one of my best friends in the world.
“I feel like I am a step ahead as I’ve asked him questions about what it will be like. Obviously he was in Australia and this is in Wales but he has been amazing in helping to settle my nerves.”
Last night, The Sun revealed that Danny quit Emmerdale in order to take part in the reality series.
A source told us: “Danny has been on the soap for a very long time and had been thinking about leaving. When I’m A Celeb came up he knew it was the perfect opportunity and would leave him financially secure.
“Becoming a dad to Albert has really changed his perspective on things.”
Danny became a first-time dad last month when fiancée Steph gave birth to their son Albert, and he admitted leaving his newborn behind played heavily on his mind before he agreed to sign on the dotted line.
The family unit have been quarantining together in a Welsh cottage ahead of this weekend’s launch show, when Danny will say goodbye for up to three weeks.
Danny said: “Steph and I had a long discussion about me taking part in I’m A Celebrity. We were due to start IVF earlier this year and that would have meant the baby would have been due next March, so it wouldn’t have mattered.

“But then a miracle happened and Steph fell pregnant (without IVF). I knew my baby would only be about a month old when I went into the Castle. I was worried about leaving the baby with Steph on her own but she is a midwife and I know our baby will be in perfect hands.
“She has been incredibly supportive and she knows what a great opportunity this is to take part.”
Danny will be entering the castle this Sunday alongside Richard Madeley, Frankie Bridge, David Ginola, Dame Arlene Phillips, ex BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin, Kadeena Cox, Olympic diver Matty Lee, music producer Naughty Boy, and Radio 1 Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy.
Then next week, soap icons Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson will join the gang as late arrivals.
