Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans LIVID as soaps cancelled AGAIN in schedule shake-up
SOAP fans have been left seething that both Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been cancelled AGAIN.
ITV viewers will experience yet another schedule shake-up as bosses ditch their favourites to air a World Cup 2022 qualifier game.
Instead of the latest action from the cobbles and the Dales, England will go head-to-head with San Marino with a broadcast starting at 7pm.
Those who were less than pleased about Corrie and Emmerdale being ditched for the football, raced to air their views on Twitter.
One complained: "Bloody football AGAIN tonight! So no #emmerdale".
Before joking: "Right. Well we'll have to do our own episode then".
Another moaned: "Corrie schedule is all messed up due England playing football multiple times."
A third queried: "Everything the football is on soaps get cancelled. About time there's a separate channel ITV?"

Luckily fans will only have a short wait and the two soaps will be back tomorrow (Tuesday), diving back into some meaty storylines.
But when the same happened on Friday and the shows were ditched for the footie, some viewers were just as unforgiving.
One warned: "Which means I shall be watching your rival channels more and more.
"I normally only watch ITV keep on doing this sort of thing and I shall stop watching ITV and change to your rivals”.
