Dancing On Ice’s Liberty Poole in dramatic fall as she crashes to the ice in training

DANCING On Ice star Liberty Poole suffered a dramatic fall while training for the ITV show.

The Love Island alum was pictured lying flat on her back on the ice after one of her new skating tricks got the better of her.

The reality TV star is currently preparing for the latest instalment of the skating series, which will hit screens in January.

Although she appeared to be a natural on the ice in prior sessions, Liberty proved that she's still learning as she lost her balance and fell over in the rink.

Despite her momentary loss of balance, the ITV starlet appeared in good spirits and smiled as she got back to her feet with the help of her coach without injury.

The Birmingham beauty kept warm on the ice in a black bodywarmer, white knit with criss-cross-detailing and black gym leggings.

While she styled her blonde hair into a ponytail plait and sported a glamorous make-up look.

The fall comes days after Liberty showed off her impressive ice skating skills less than two weeks into Dancing On Ice training.

The reality TV alum was filmed getting some practice in at a public ice rink as she told her fans she was trying out a tricky new move.

Liberty, 22, took to the rink for her first day of training in October ahead of her debut on the ITV skating show in January 2022.

But just days into the training regime, the former waitress already looks to be nailing routines - having mastered the art of skating backwards.

"Very busy day ahead," Liberty revealed as she was seen in the back of a cab on the way to her practice session, dressed in a bright green tracksuit.

A second clip on her Instagram stories saw her "trying backward crossovers" alongside a coach, as she skated in backwards in circles.

Next, Liberty went solo as she proved she didn't need anyone to lean on to perform the technical move, writing: "Now trying them on my own."

Onlookers appeared impressed with the Love Island star's moves as they watched on from behind her while she twisted and twirled to a stop.

"Perseverance is key," she told her 1.5million social media followers in a final clip, which saw her blonde locks - tied into a ponytail - gently trail down her back.

It comes shortly after Liberty posed with Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt - who will also appear on DOI 2022.

Liberty looked to have made friends with her ITV co-stars as she took selfies on the ice alongside skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

She cuddled in with Corrie actress Sally, 58, and singer Kimberly, 39, for one sweet snap as they trained at London's Alexandra Palace.
