THE Chase descended into chaos after Mark Labbett made a nightmare buzzer blunder in a show - and it cost him dearly.
Four new contestants took on the Chaser - also known as The Beast - in the hopes of winning a life-changing amount of money.
However, when the third contestant faced Mark, the pressure got the better of the master quizzer as he accidentally pressed his button without knowing which answer he had given.
Reading the question, presenter Bradley Walsh asked: “Georgia’s longest international border is with what country?”
The Beast immediately buzzed in before affirming: “Oh, I didn’t mean to press. I’ve got no idea what I’ve pressed. First time I’ve done that.”
Bradley then said to contestant Kenny: “You’ve put Russia,” before adding: “I mean, it’s got to be, innit?”
Mark, who accidentally answered “Armenia”, quickly interjected: “I will say now, I would have picked ‘Turkey’, but I have no idea what I actually pressed.”
Unveiling the answer to be Russia, Bradley turned to the fan favourite Chaser for his view on what had happened.

“I would have said Turkey, I don’t know what I actually pressed, though,” repeated Mark.
Kenny sailed through to the final round joining Tom who had already made it back.
Next up, Katy took to the stage and, despite only being 19, put on an outstanding performance and united with fellow contestants Kenny and Tom.
It proved to be an intense final, too, with all three players answering 18 questions correctly.
Ordinarily, that score would have been no match for The Beast, but he stumbled on six questions - giving the trio an opportunity to earn push-backs.
The team answered five correctly and with just a few seconds on the clock managed to take home the win - bagging £5,000 each.
The Chase airs from 5pm on weekdays on ITV.
