Strictly fix row as fans complain Judi Love ‘would have gone home’ if she didn’t get ‘a free pass’ to the next week

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have branded the show "unfair" after Judi Love escaped the risk of being sent home thanks to her 'free pass'.

Loose Women favourite Judi and her dance partner Graziano Di Prima were automatically put through to this weekend's Halloween special after she contracted Covid.

But some viewers have claimed this resulted in Ugo Monye and Oti Mabuse being given their marching orders.

Judi and Graziano have been in the bottom two twice already and fans believe they would have got the chop had they been in last weekend's programme.

Taking to Twitter during Sunday night's Results Show, one Strictly viewer wrote: "It’s unfair tonight that a good dancer will leave the competition because Judi had a free pass. She has consistently been worse than the other dancers #Strictly."

Another wrote: "Judi would’ve been out of Strictly this week.. a bit unfair as better dancer will probably lose their place when Judi is clearly the worst dancer by a country mile!!! She really shoulda been out two weeks ago…"

However, a third reasoned: "Ugo comes back and I bet he goes same with judi she will come back and go #strictly."

MEDICAL WOES

Ugo had just returned to the show with Oti after being given his own 'free pass'.

The former England rugby player was rushed to hospital less than two weeks ago for an emergency operation on his back.

Before the procedure, he had told fans: "Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to dance this weekend on the show. I have a history of back problems which has always been managed under the guidance of medical professionals.

"Unfortunately this has been causing me some unwanted problems this week.

"I have been advised by medical professionals and with huge support from Strictly to get some treatment and rest to ensure that I can get myself back to full capacity and fighting fit for next week."

Ugo and Oti performed a Rumba as their comeback dance on Saturday night but found themselves in the bottom two with CBBC star Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu.

All four judges chose to save Rhys and Nancy after both pairs performed again.

Judi and Graziano, meanwhile, were forced to watch from home while in isolation.

Last week, while preparing to take to the ballroom, Judi tested positive for coronavirus so they both had to miss out.

Despite being in the bottom two for the previous two weeks running, they were given an automatic entry to this Saturday's Halloween special.

However, Judi updated fans two days ago and revealed that she is suffering from "lethargy and aches" as she battles the virus.

She wrote for magazine: "At the time of writing this column, I’m feeling lethargic and achy, but I’m hoping to rest up and kick it as soon as I can."
