EastEnders’ Maisie Smith bags her first gig after quitting the BBC1 soap
EASTENDERS star Maisie Smith is to take part in SAS: Who Dares Wins — her first job since quitting the soap earlier this month.
Maisie, 20, below, who played Tiffany Butcher for 13 years, will join the celebs facing the tough secret selection course special forces recruits undergo.
Last year’s Strictly Come Dancing finalist will travel to the Isle of Raasay in the Scottish Hebrides to film in the coming weeks.
A source said: “Maisie wants to show there’s another side to her beyond the sweet Tiffany she’s been known for playing since she was six.
“She got a glimpse of life beyond EastEnders in Strictly and enjoyed the freedom.
“She’d signed up when she told ’Enders bosses she was leaving, and can’t wait to get stuck in and prove her grit.
“She’s determined to give a good account of herself but knows it’ll be tough.”
Singer Alexandra Burke, 33, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, 23, and Paralympian Aled Davies, 31, were the only celebs from 12 to pass the course in the Channel 4 show this year.

"However, full details will be released when the series broadcasts next year.”
