Sex Education star Mimi Keene unrecognisable from her EastEnders character amid rumours Cindy Beale is returning
FORMER Eastenders star Mimi Keene debuted a brand new look as her character is set for a return to Walford.
The actress, 23, who was known for playing Cindy Williams in the BBC One soap, looked a far cry from the character that launched her career.
Mimi posed on the cover of after her star turn in Netflix's Sex Education as the snobby Ruby Matthews.
Wearing her in long, choppy layers that would make Farrah Fawcett green with envy, Mimi confidently looked towards the camera with a modern pink eyeshadow.
She rocked a multi-coloured Valentino dress with a pink Roman stud heel.
Not content with one jaw dropping look, Mimi showed off her range inside the magazine, posing for a more natural look.
The actress lay on her side in a grey ribbed, long cardigan and cupped her head in her hand.
Mimi is best known to audiences for her work on EastEnders, where she played Cindy, daughter of legendary Cindy Beale, between 2013 and 2015.

The character has been portrayed by four different actresses, with Mimi being the latest.
Cindy said goodbye to Albert Square back in 2015 to pursue a relationship with love interest Liam Butcher as they set down roots in Germany.
Since then, actress Mimi's career has gone from strength to strength.
Mimi portrayed the role of a young Edith Bratt in the hit film Tolkien alongside Lilly Collins and Nicholas Hoult.
Even though Mimi's next stop seems to be Hollywood, it looks like Cindy Beale is coming back to EastEnders.
Liam, now played by Alfie Deegan, made a surprise return to Walford to see his sister Tiffany Butcher last month.
But it soon became apparent that Liam had been up to no good and owed someone a huge amount of money.
Next week, the soap will give a further insight into the real reason for Liam’s sudden arrival as he ignores a call from Cindy, leading her to get in contact with her brother Peter and ask for money.
Cindy also spills the beans on what’s going on between her and Liam.
