Speaking to , the beloved presenter said she has "so much love to give" and in hindsight would have loved five or six children.

She began: "I wish I’d banged out two at the same time. As soon as I had Aidan I went straight on contraception because the doctors encourage you to.

"I wish I hadn’t listened and just banged another baby out then. I’m so disappointed as I always saw myself with five or six kids, not one.

"I’ve got so much love to give, I need six to share it all around."

Alison added that while she would consider adoption, she would only do it with a partner.

The 46-year-old TV star welcomed her teenage son with her ex Nourddine Boufaied.

The pair were engaged but they never made it down the aisle, with Alison revealing how the relationship began to crumble.

Writing in , she shared: "Over time we realised we weren't compatible. He wanted to be in Manchester and I wanted to be in Birmingham."

"Eventually we split up. Nourddine became an every-other-weekend dad, and in time, we saw him as and when he wanted to see Aidan."

The TV star said they are both still friends and have travelled the world together with their son.

Taxi driver Nourddine, she writes, ended up married to a Tunisian woman and now has three children with her.

GETTING FRANK

Back to her interview with OK!, Alison revealed that "people were just more interested" when in her when she was slimmer.

The former Big Brother star previously admitted feeling at the "bottom of the pit" in her obesity crisis - and asked for help to "claw" herself out of it.

At her heaviest, the This Morning presenter weighed more than 20st and vowed to overhaul her diet in 2019 to shift the pounds.

Discussing people's treatment of her, Alison added: "People pay you more attention when you lose weight.

"They’re more interested in what you’ve got to say and are more interested in being around you. It’s the weirdest thing. People are obsessed with dieting and being slim."

In November, TV star Alison revealed she is pre-diabetic - and begged This Morning viewers to stop her eating chocolate and sweets.
