Big Brother star Pete Bennett celebrates as he ‘finally’ divorces ex Cherry after 11 years of marriage
BIG Brother star Pete Bennett has officially divorced his ex-wife Gemma Rattus - better known as Cherry - after 11 years.
The 39-year-old shared the news on Instagram yesterday alongside several photos of the couple celebrating the news via FaceTime, proving that they remain incredibly amicable.
Captioning the post, he wrote: "It's official me and @rattusgemma are finally DIVORCED after 11 years. Got my decree absolute in today..
"Great to celebrate over FaceTime but will have a proper party next time we meet up. Love u Ex-wife lol ♡".
Cherry echoed Pete's sentiment and commented underneath the post: "❤️ over a decade of marriage, and still talking and love each other.
"I’d say that’s pretty damn good! ❤️"
The pair said 'I do' on 2010's Celebrity Four Weddings, which followed four brides as they planned their special day and attended each other's weddings.
At the end, each bride voted which was the best wedding for the chance to win their dream honeymoon.

However six months after their lavish TV nuptials, Pete and Cherry announced they were getting a divorce.
News of Pete's divorce comes six months after he broke down in tears during a heartbreaking video to the late girlfriend Nikki Grahame.
Nikki, 38, passed away on April 10 at her London home after a long battle with anorexia, a day after being discharged from Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester following a three week stay.
The pair got together on the Channel 4 reality series back in 2006, which also propelled them both to fame.
Following the devastating news, Pete took to social media to pay his respects to the much-loved star at the time and thanked everyone for their "heartwarming" support.
He went on: "I thought to myself yeah we could save her, but we couldn’t. But it’s OK, she’s in a good place and she’s not suffering anymore.
"So I’d just like to raise a f***ing glass, or bottle of wine more like, for Nikki Grahame."
The pair famously had a brief romance during the show but Pete ended their relationship after a month. However they remained on good terms, with Nikki saying on Loose Women: "I’ll always be fond of Pete."
In June 2020, Nikki had admitted their relationship was "never meant to be" but said she had no regrets about their romance.
She said at the time: "I hated it when I realised I was falling in love with Pete Bennett. It was never meant to be. But I loved him at the time. Truly, it was special."
