BRITAIN'S Got Talent child star Jack Carroll won the hearts of the nation with his hilarious stand-up routines and is still making us laugh eight years on.

Jack was only 14-years-old when he competed in the seventh series of the ITV talent show, finishing as the runner-up.

His career has gone from strength to strength, with an impressive acting career and is set to appear in the theatres.

Jack, who has cerebral palsy, has since landed a string of acting roles in popular TV shows.

Before finding fame on BGT, comedian Jason Manford saw a video of him performing at his parent's wedding anniversary and invited the teen to give a short performance at one of his gigs.

He became an instant hit on BGT, with the judges voting him through and even came back for BGT: The Champions in 2019.

Comedian and fellow judge David Walliams offered Jack a part in his BBC One sitcom, Big School as a character named Dean.

He then landed his a role in Sky 1's comedy show Trollied, playing a character named Harry.

After four years on the show, Jack went onto appear on other popular shows including an episode of Doctors in 2015.

He also bagged roles in 4 O'Clock Club and Eaten by Lions, as well as CBBC appearances on The Dog Ate My Homework and Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind-up.

Despite a successful acting career, Jack has continued stand-up with appearances on Sunday Night at the Palladium, Live at the Apollo and Jason Manford's It's a Funny Old Week.

He also recently starred on an episode of Complaints Department with Jason Manford, Sara Pascoe and Dane Baptiste.

The 22-year-old will be heading out on tour as part of a stage show Cured, a play about a religious pilgrimage.

He will play a atheist with a disability and joins a Church trip to France to try and get closer to a girl he likes.

The show will be opening in Liverpool next year.
