CORONATION Street's Sally Dynevor strapped on her skates and hit the rink after signing up to Dancing On Ice.
The soap legend - who plays Sally Metcalfe - is in training for the show and has been spotted on the ice rink on a number of occasions.
Sally, 58, was seen with skater Stephen Pickavance, who has been a coach on the show for 10 years.
The TV star used a hockey stick to practice her balance but needed a bit of assistance with Stephen holding onto her.
A TV insider told The Sun: “ITV have been keen to get Sally on the ice for a number of years and she has tried out in the past, but they haven’t been able to make it work.
“She’s finally ready to do it now though and is already taking it very seriously and has been hitting the ice rink most Sundays.
“Sally is one of Corrie’s best loved stars, her daughter Phoebe is also now a household name so the timing couldn’t be better.”
Actress Phoebe Dynevor was propelled to superstardom after the release of saucy Netflix hit Bridgerton in 2020.

Sally is now set to follow in the footsteps of Faye Brookes, Samia Longchambon and Lisa George, who have all traded the cobbles for the ice.
Sally has played her namesake on the ITV soap since 1986 and was awarded an MBE in the 2021 New Year Honours for services to drama.
Her character was known for her on/off romance with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) but she is now married to Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine).
Some of her more notable storylines include surviving a minibus crash, having a political career on the local council, which leads to her becoming the Mayor, being the victim of an internet troll, being wrongfully imprisoned for fraud and getting injured when the roof collapses at the factory.
Soap stars seem to do well on the ice - just ask previous Dancing On Ice winners Matthew Wolfenden (Emmerdale), Joe Swash (EastEnders) and Hayley Tamaddon (Emmerdale).
Bosses on the ITV show are sticking with the formula as an array of actors were spotted trying out for the series earlier this year.
They include Emmerdale's Alexander Lincoln, Samantha Giles and Joe-Warren-Plant - who was forced to pull out last year due to Covid - and Hollyoaks' Carley Stenson and Alex Fletcher.
Benidorm's Jacke Canuso and Wags Dawn Ward and Tanya Bardsley also tried out.
While BEZ from Happy Mondays was also seen in the Bovingdon based studio.
