Jersey Shore stars are ‘NOT happy’ Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is returning to new season after latest domestic violence arrest

JERSEY Shore stars are “not happy” that Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will be returning to film for the new season after his latest arrest for domestic violence. 

A source exclusively told The Sun that several cast members were surprised the 35-year-old was returning for the upcoming season after stepping away from the show to address mental health issues following his most recent arrest for domestic violence.

“When the cast found out the news, they weren’t thrilled, but they feel there is nothing they can do about it.” 

Earlier this month The Sun was first to report that Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi was returning as a full time cast member and that she had started filming already.

participation in the fifth season of Jersey Shore’s Family Vacation was yet to be seen. 

However, the 35-year-old claimed to TMZ : "I feel great, man. Four months sober, quit drinking." 

Ronnie also revealed he is ";living the good life" with his fiancée  and his three-year-old daughter, , who he shares with his ex Jen Harley. 

While the  star claimed to be back on a good track, he also shared he is ready to make his return to the show that launched him into fame. 

He said: "I’ll be back. All the fans love me, and I love them too, so I’m gonna give them what they want, and I’ll see them soon.” 

Ronnie added he will "hopefully be back by the end of season five." 

The father of one also confirmed that all of his famous cast mates are "invited" to his upcoming wedding. 

"We're family at the end of the day," he told the outlet, and added, "we grew up together, 12 years strong. They're family forever." 

WHERE'S RONNIE? 

A source previously : "Ronnie is not filming, at least not as of now. The cast started filming a little here and there two weeks ago, but now they are all filming full force, sans Ron.” 

The insider added at the time: "There is no sign that Ronnie is joining anytime soon.” 

Back in May, the  star announced he was  following his April arrest for domestic violence in an incident involving Saffire. 

The incident meant he likely violated his probation. 

Ronnie faced court at the Van Nuys Courthouse in Los Angeles last week over the incident with Saffire and potentially faced 30 days jail time. 

However, and instead ordered him to take 26 parenting classes. 

The judge also placed him under a three-year protective order where he is prohibited from harassing or intimidating Saffire. 

The court acknowledged he recently completed a rehab program in Florida, thereby allowing him to skip jail time. 

Ronnie's attorney, Scott Leemon, told The Sun in an exclusive statement his client was pleased with the result and was committed to focusing on his family. 

'FACING MY STRUGGLES' 

After his April arrest, Ronnie wrote on Instagram: "After talking to the team at MTV, we have mutually agreed that I will step away from the show while I seek medical treatment for mental health issues that I've ignored too long. 

"My number one goal now is facing my struggles head on." 

In May, another source told The Sun: "The entire cast has said they  because they believe he is not mentally stable. They feel he is a ticking time bomb and he makes all of them look bad." 

Ronnie is also currently on probation for his 2019 arrest for alleged domestic violence involving his ex .

The former pair would split following the incident, which allegedly involved Ronnie threatening Jen with a knife, as he also “kidnapped” their daughter. 

He was eventually charged with felony domestic violence, child endangerment, making criminal threats and brandishing a weapon, and  to avoid time behind bars.
