Married at First Sight fans furious as Luke is ‘torn apart’ by Morag’s pals – and experts give him ‘false hope’

MARRIED at First Sight fans were left horrified after Luke Dawson was "torn apart" by Morag's pals.

Luke, 36, headed to Morag's home in Essex to meet her friends and mum for some reassurance after a rocky few weeks.

But the Cardiff boy was left shaken after Morag's pals ripped into him with a series of insults.

It all started well, after Luke said that he he thinks Morag is "special" and praised her as one of the best people he's ever met.

Morag's mum told Luke that he is the son-in-law that she would like for Morag and to keep persisting with the relationship.

Meanwhile, Morag tells her pals that she's had sex with Luke but does not believe that there is any sexual chemistry there.

She said: "I have tried, hand on heart I have tried. I feel like I want to run for the hills.

"It's come to a point, is it going to work?"

But Morag's pals are less than convinced that Luke is the right guy for her as they grilled him.

One friend exclaimed: "Like, I feel you're amazing but she's an alpha and alike a lot of alpha's need somebody else that's going to calm them down.

"From what I know of her she needs somebody that's going to challenge her."

Getting out of her seat, she continued: "She will not back down, she wants somebody that's going to keep her on her toes."

Luke was left fuming and replied: "You've said your piece, now I'm going to say mine...but that is complete bulls***."

The fireman explained that despite his easy going nature, he won't take "bulls***" from Morag.

He added that there will be point where it could all get too much for him - leaving her friend slamming him, saying that Morag needs someone who will "fight back".

This left Luke puzzled and asked: "How do you know that?"

Morag finally stepped in and said: "But she knows me."

After the heated interaction with Morag's pals, Luke was left feeling defeated.

Speaking to the camera, he said: "I'm feeling angry, I feel like an absolute mug.

"I've had Morag's back for the entire process. I don't care about what her friends opinion is. I don't care anything about what anything thinks of me.

"But Morag did not have my back tonight."

Morag's mum then slammed her daughter for treating Luke badly and branded her "spoilt".

Her mum admitted to Luke that her daughter has a "fear of commitment" and criticised her past boyfriends for treating her like "s**t".

But Luke appeared to throw the towel in and after being humiliated devastated as Morag fails to defend him in front of her friends.

He admits that he's fighting a losing battle and says that he "wants to go home with people who actually loves me and like me for who I am".

A heartbroken Luke said: "I'm done."

E4 viewers were furious by Morag's friends reaction after a savage grilling and slammed the experts for giving him "false hope".

One fan wrote: "Why is it all about what Morag wants and needs and Luke's feelings are just glossed over. Her friends were absolutely disgusting. #mafs"

Another posted: "Appalling behaviour from Morag's friends...Morag needs to look in the mirror, she is exactly what is wrong with women."

"Morag needs her head sorting, cos Luke's actually way our of her league. Her friends are so aggressive towards him standing up and pointing in his face," a third shared.

During a one-to-one chat with expert Paul Brunson explained his reason for pairing them together.

He said: "Paul "We realised she needed someone to bring out the best for.

Everything she asked for she has received in you. But she's received it in a different package to what she thought.

"What she thought she wanted. I believe you are what she needs. You've done all of the right things. Your patience is now being tested."
