WENDY Willams' fans are now hoping for the show to get the axe so the troubled host can "get well" after she was rushed to the hospital for "psychiatric issues."
The TV star was forced to put her upcoming season premiere on hold while she continues to battle health problems.
Earlier this week, the star was taken to the hospital after a 911 call was made to her New York City apartment building.
The cops arrived to assist, and though the NYPD would not confirm that the person in need was indeed , a spokesperson revealed: “There was a call for a 57-year-old non-violent female who needed psychiatric services at that address on Wednesday morning.
"They were transported to the hospital.”
At the time, a call to a rep for Wendy was not returned.
However, the daytime talk show's official Instagram would also announce that Wendy was , after canceling several appearances recently.
The post read: “While continuing her health evaluations, Wendy has tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19.

“To allow Wendy time to quarantine and fully recover and to ensure that our production abides by all SAG/AFTRA and DGA Covid protocols, we expect to begin the 13th season of The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, October 4th.
“In the meantime, repeats will be scheduled.”
FANS ARE WORRIED
Amid all of the chaos, some fans now want the popular program canceled for good so Wendy can focus on her health.
One person wrote on Instagram: "Eff the show!!! Wendy needs to return, step back etc. Her overall health is whats important. Save her life, not the show!!"
Another fan added: "Get well sister. But I it's time for you to retire the purple chair. Your soul is exhausted and you need real time with Jesus to heal."
The reactions kept pouring in, as one chimed in: "Please cancel the Wendy Williams Show. Allow Wendy to focus on her health.
"The world will be better off without her show and Wendy will be better off without trying to keep up with appearances. It's a win-win for everyone."
While a fourth said: "Take your time Wendy. You have been through a lot. Take care of yourself first."
'NOT AN EASY FIGHT'

WENDY'S HEALTH OBSTACLES
Viewers have always been concerned about Wendy and her health - back in 2017, the mother of one gave everyone a scare, when she fainted during a live taping of her show on Halloween.
At the time, the famous host blamed the eye-opening incident on feeling overheated and suffering from low electrolytes.
Although, a few months later, Wendy announced that she had Graves' disease, and had been living with it for years.

On top of that, Wendy struggled with her sobriety following an ugly split from her ex-husband Kevin Hunter.
