The Crown’s Emma Corrin is worlds away from Princess Diana on set of new Netflix film Lady Chatterley’s Lover
EMMA Corrin looked a world away from The Crown's Princess Diana as she filmed scenes for Lady Chatterley's Lover.
The new Netflix film sees the actress take on the title role in the flick based on D H Lawrence's novel of the same name.
Gone were Diana's distinctive blond locks, and instead short bobbed dark hair could be seen underneath a peaked cap.
Snapped while on location in north Wales, the 25-year-old is seen at the wheel of an old-fashioned car wearing protective driving goggles.
Wrapped up against the cold, the high society character's wardrobe consisted of a long blue coat, grey skirt and green jumper.
Matching leather gloves and boots completed the look.
In one teasing snap, Emma is escorted across the fields and appears to be in character sporting a fake baby bump.
At one point the star was surrounded by crew as they shielded her from the rain with umbrellas.

The on-screen remake of the steamy novel, sees Emma play a well-off woman who unhappy in her marriage, takes on a lover - a gamekeeper living on their estate.
After marrying young Constance Chatterley then has to face the challenge of falling pregnant as a result of the affair.
David Magee (Life of Pi) has written the script while Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre (Mrs America, The Act) directs.
Skins star Jack O'Connell and Matthew Duckett (Doctors, Confession) join the cast of the remake alongside Corrin.
The release date of the film is yet to be confirmed by the streaming service.
Emma recently opened up on the "insane responsibility" of taking on the mammoth legacy of Diana in a chat with Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page.
Speaking on Actors On Actors virtual chat with , she said: "I remember when I got the part, I did feel that insane sense of responsibility, also playing Diana as well, it's kind of terrifying."
NEW ROLE
However, Emma hadn't realised she was being considered for the part when she first met with casting agents.
She explained: "I was sort of working, jobbing, trying to earn money in London and also, manically running around auditioning for anything that I could.
"I got asked by Nina Gold and Rob Sterne, who cast The Crown, to come in and help for some of the chemistry reads they were doing between Camillas, who they were auditioning."

She added: "So I was like, 'OK,' and it wasn't an audition, I was being paid to be there and I wasn't going to be on camera."
Regé-Jean replied: "You got a call from the casting director to come in and be a reader, essentially, boom! Emma's got Diana energy."
