The Chase’s Jenny Ryan reveals the tragic reason she hasn’t pursued a singing career – despite incredible voice
THE Chase's Jenny Ryan has revealed the tragic reason she hasn't pursued a singing career - despite her incredible voice.
The Chaser, nicknamed The Vixen on the ITV show, took part in The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019.
Jenny stunned judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh with her powerful vocals, and ended up making it through to the final.
The 39-year-old finished in third place behind Max and Harvey and winner Megan McKenna.
However Jenny didn't get chance to capitalise on her success and carry on a potential singing sideline due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A source told The Sun Online: "The X Factor: Celebrity finished at the end of 2019 and Jenny had hoped to keep singing and performing.
"However the pandemic in March 2020 put a halt to all of that unfortunately. But she still loves singing so who knows what will happen in the future."

The news comes after Jenny looked almost unrecognisable on the red carpet at the National Television Awards.
Jenny ditched her signature glasses, fringe and beehive hairdo for a sleek up to with her fringe pinned into a curl at the side.
The star opted for a showstopping mermaid-style dress with a daring statement collar.
Meanwhile the bottom of the dress featured a copper geometric pattern and Jenny got to show it off on the red carpet and on stage as she joined her co-stars to pick up an award for Beat the Chasers.
