Love Island’s Toby mocked by Joel Dommett for cracking on to his mum Penny at NTAs

NATIONAL Television Awards host Joel Dommett has a firm eye on the audience tonight - after catching his mum cuddling up to Love Island lothario, Toby Aromolaran.

The Love Island runner-up joined his fellow castmates at tonight's glitzy ceremony at the O2 Arena, but host Joel noticed from the stage that his mum Penny was already partying with the gang.

As he introduced the show, Joel sent out a warning to Toby - who became famed for his wandering eye during the ITV2 show - to keep his hands off his mum.

Toby undeterred instead put his arm around Penny, who quickly cuddled up to him.

Castmates including Love Island host Laura Whitmore and winner Liam Reardon were seen laughing and cheering the 'new couple' on.

Luckily we don't think Joel has that much to worry about just yet - as the 22-year-old is now officially loved-up with girlfriend, Chloe Burrows.

The couple made it to the end of the show's run, before being beaten by Liam and Millie Court in the final vote.

But they had a bit of a journey to get there - considering Toby started his time on the show with Kaz Kamwi, before getting with Chloe, moving on to Abi Rawlings, and then Mary Bedford, and then returning to Chloe.

The pair arrived at today's ceremony together, even sharing a passionate kiss n the red carpet.

Though let's see what the afterparty brings, eh Penny?
