Love Island fans horrified as Faye is nominated for award for movie night outburst which sparked 25,000 Ofcom complaints
LOVE Island's Faye Winter was nominated for an award for her movie-night meltdown during last night's reunion show - and viewers were horrified.
The Devon lass' expletive-filled rant at boyfriend Teddy Soares sparked 25,000 complaints to broadcast watchdog Ofcom.
Despite the fallout from the series' most controversial episode, Faye was a contender for the most dramatic moment.
One shocked viewer wrote on Twitter: "Wow they think it’s appropriate to nominate Faye for an *award* for behaviour that got her 25,000 complaints? You lot are disgraceful."
Another posted: "Faye up for an award for her verbal rampage you can’t make this up."
A third said: "Why is Faye being abusive being nominated for an award? Weirdos."
Faye watched the row back for the first time last night and agreed that her behaviour was unacceptable.
Asked how she felt about it afterwards by host Laura Whitmore, Faye said: "I mean, there would have been another complaint if I'd watched it back, so... from myself yeah, it's not nice.
"I would have been complaining about it too, not one of my finest moments."

Laura then asked Teddy how he had felt considering how much he cared for Faye and he said: "Yeah that was painful, obviously I've not watched that back either.
"Living in the moment it was painful to see how she was hurt, but we've moved on so far from it, like it's unreal."
