Fiona Bruce visited Morden hall Park, located in Merton and Wimbledon to see what antiques people had to offer.

John Benjamin was assigned the task of valuing the aquamarine gemstone which he admitted was one of the biggest he'd seen.

Her father had mounted it with diamonds and she had worn it several times with an aquamarine dress.

The piece was left languishing in a drawer for several decades before being unearthed.

Benjamin explained, "The size of the gem really is...quite startling. And we don't see these on the market. At the auction, I would like to think we're looking at the best part of £20,000 for it.".

Gasps could be heard coming from the crowd as the woman teared up, exclaiming "Oh my God".

"I need a Gin and Tonic I think, after this! You've made my day."

John replies "You and me both, thank you very much!"
