This Morning fans in hysterics as Ruth Langsford accidentally calls Millie her Love Island rival Lillie

THIS Morning's Ruth Langsford got mixed up and called Millie Court by the name of her love rival, Lillie.

The Love Island winner, 24, looked shocked - especially when Eamonn Holmes told her: "You sound alike and you look alike."

She looked scornful replying: "You think?"

Lillie Haynes was the Casa Amor stunner who Liam snogged and shared a bed with while away from Millie.

The pair reconciled and went on to win Love Island on Monday night, sharing the £50,000 prize.

This Morning viewers were left in hysterics after today's slip-up with one writing: "Did Ruth really just call Millie , Lillie ffs hahahahaha 💀💀."

Another wrote: "Eamonn saying how similar Millie and Lillie are and then for Ruth to accidentally call Millie, Lillie. That's Millie is a good sport."

A third tweeted: "Millie and Lillie are both gorgeous but you don't want to be compared to the girl your partner cheated on you with! Poor Millie!"

Ruth introduced her saying: "Welcome home. First of all, Lillie. Erm, Millie. Just explain to people why you're not together."

Quizzed by the husband-and-wife team on This Morning today Liam said he was "very grateful" that Millie took him back.

He told her that he planned to win her trust outside the villa saying: "I still want to make that up to her."

Millie explained: “We are together 24/7 in the villa and I had really strong feelings for Liam before he went off to Casa Amor and just because that had happened it didn’t mean that my feeling for him had left.

"I was trying to have respect for myself [and say] ‘I can’t do it’, but we were together all day every day and it was actually so hard looking at him [and thinking] ‘I can’t stay away from you.'

"He’s so fit and makes me laugh so much. He’s only got to say one thing and I’m laughing my head off.

"Before we knew it he was doing lovely gestures and I thought ‘OK, let’s go for it’ because I knew what we had was real.

"We had a really really good connection and that’s what was really important to me.”

The pair are currently apart with Millie at home in Essex while Liam is holed up at a venue in east London.

She explained: "I am really missing him - I regret saying I'd go home."
