First look at Never Mind the Buzzcocks reboot confirms fan-favourite round is back – and with a string of A-list stars

A SNEAK peek of the Never Mind the Buzzcocks reboot has confirmed the return of a fan favourite.
A first look at the new series features Little Mix’s Jade Thirwall, singer Anne Marie and comedian Nish Kumar as they hilariously try to guess a tune in the much-loved ‘Intros’ round.
Brand new host Greg Davies tries to keep the chaos in check, as Anne Marie is joined by team captain Daisy May Cooper in their attempt to re-create the introduction of a popular song.
As opposing team captain Noel Fielding and teammate Nish break down with laughter in a corner, Jade surprises the studio by correctly guessing the song as a Cyndi Lauper hit.
Funny man Jamali Maddix is also a regular guest on the series.
The show which formerly aired on the BBC will now air on Sky Max and on streaming service NOW as a Sky Original.
Never Mind the Buzzcocks will return to screens in September with eight episodes, 45 minutes long.
Fans will be glad to hear there will also be a one-off Christmas special.
The new programme is produced by Talkback (a Fremantle label), the production company behind all previous series of Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Earlier this month it was revealed how Sky bosses now have a major headache to deal with after rapper Dizzee Rascal was charged with assault.
Dizzee was set to appear in the new revamped series.
But recently the star – real name Dylan Kwabena Mills – was charged with assaulting a woman following a domestic dispute in Streatham, South London, in June.
Dizzee, who was named Best British Solo Artist at the 2010 Brits and received an MBE for services to music last year, will appear in court next month over the alleged incident.
