EASTENDERS fans are convinced Kheerat Panesar will MURDER Ben Mitchell over Jags’ death twist.

Ben and Callum were terrified after Kheerat Panesar was arrested last night for questioning over to the attack on Paul Coker’s killer Simon Atmore.

Ben says he's worried about Kheerat coming after him

The pair feared Callum could end up facing time behind bars after the police officer used his job to acquire Simon’s phone number, which would implicate him in the attack.

But tonight's episode saw Kheerat make a triumphant return to the Square after co-operating with the police in custody.

He revealed to a stunned Ben and Callum that he was bailed after the ID parade - and that he kept Callum out of it.

It was all happy families as Ben and Kheerat apologised for fighting over The Arches and agreed to continue running the business together.

But later, a downbeat Ben expressed his fears to Callum that Kheerat will seek revenge if he finds out about his role in his brother Jags Panesar’s death.

Viewers know that Ben was supposed to be providing protection for Jags in prison, but pulled the plug on the whole thing when he saw Kheerat romancing his enemy Sharon.

“It’s never going to go away this is it?” Ben said.

“The investigation is dead, Ben,” Callum replied.

“Yeah for now. When Kheerat finds out, and he will,” Ben said.

“I want to share a life with you, Callum, not a plot in the cemetery.”

EastEnders fans were also left fearing the worst for Ben and Callum.

One said: "So when Kheerat finds out about what happened with Jags if he doesn’t actually kill Ben he’s gonna take the Arches right? To get back at him. I’m convinced this is the big Christmas story. "

Another added: "Can't wait til the Panesars kill Ben. Bubye Ballum"

A third chimed in: "Ben is so concerned 😔"

Elsewhere tonight, Suki dropped a huge bombshell on Honey Mitchell.

Honey was stunned when Suki confessed everything - Jags is dead because of her after she set him up for Vinny’s crime.
