A PLACE in the Sun's Ben Hillman resorted to BEGGING a buyer to enter a home after a brutal rejection.
Tuesday's edition of the Channel 4 show saw Ben meet mother and son Martine and Remi in France.
Martine hoped to move permanently to the island of Oleron and wished to find a two bedroomed house with a garden on her budget of £125,000.
Straightaway, Ben warned her it would be a struggle to get everything on her wish list due to her "small budget".
After ruling out the first two properties, Martine and Remi loved the third one Ben showed them.
He then had to try and better it, but failed miserably with the fourth option, with Martine instantly disliking it when he told her it had no outdoor space at all.
Ben explained: “It’s a sought after place to be. Not every place we can find on budget benefits from outdoor space.
“So, what you gain in one you lose in another, and I think that’s what we are battling against here.”

As Martine looked unimpressed, he added: “You look unhappy,” and she replied: “I am disappointed.”
The presenter then begged: “Will you at least go inside and just have a look at it? For me?”
The pair reluctantly agreed but after a couple of minutes inside the property, they had seen enough and halted the viewing.
In the end, Martine wanted more time to think about things, but registered her interest in the third property with the estate agent.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
