He also holds the record for the highest average correct responses per game in Jeopardy! history with 33.1 overall including tournaments and special events.

Jennings' total earnings on Jeopardy! are $2,522,700, consisting of: $2,520,700 over his 74 wins; a $2,000 second-place prize in his 75th appearance.

Jennings also won a $500,000 second-place prize in the Jeopardy! Ultimate Tournament of Champions (2005); a $300,000 second-place prize in Jeopardy's IBM Challenge (2011).

Furthermore, he won  a $100,000 second-place prize in the Jeopardy! Battle of the Decades (2014); a $100,000 second-place prize (his share of his team's $300,000 prize) in the Jeopardy! All-Star Games (2019); and a $1 million first-place prize in the Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time (2020).

In 2006, he published a book about his experience and American trivia history titled Brainiac: Adventures in the Curious, Competitive, Compulsive World of Trivia Buffs.

In September 2020, he signed on as a consulting producer of Jeopardy!, and between January 11 to February 19 2021, he guest-hosted several episodes of the game show following Alex Trebek's death.

Is Ken Jennings the new host of Jeopardy?!

American television producer was originally picked to be the new host of Jeopardy! alongside actress .

However, following the show's announcement, they received backlash from their choice of Richards as had resurfaced.

On September 16, 2021, TMZ first reported that that Jennings will now be returning yet again to the franchise and serve as the  for the rest of the season after Richards .

Sony sources told the media outlet that executives have not decided what will happen next season but as for this season, fans will be seeing more of Bialik who had originally signed on for hosting Jeopardy! specials.

Sources say that Bialik will now be the frontrunner while Jennings films a few weeks worth of episodes.

Has Ken Jennings competed in other game show's in the past?

Prior to his gameshow days, Jennings worked as a software engineer.

But over the years, Jennings has since switched careers and has gone on to appear in multiple game shows.

Jennings also appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, as a frequent expert for the lifeline "Ask the Expert", and also taped a pilot for the proposed 2009 CBS revival of Sony's The $25,000 Pyramid.

In 2014, Jennings also appeared on Millionaire where he won $100,000 after deciding to walk away on his $250,000 question despite having made the right prediction. 

If he had gone for it, he would have won $250,000.
