Molly Mae Hague reveals she turned down £2m from high street brand to wear their clothes
LOVE Island's Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she turned down a £2million offer to wear a brand's clothes - because she didn't like them.
The 22-year-old star, a multi-millionaire on the back of her reality TV fame, opened up about some of her money-spinning ventures.
Fran explained: "Molly tells me her goals. Like: 'I want to buy a house, I want to take my family away.' It’s my job to make those goals happen."
She added: "A high street fashion brand came along last year, offered me £2million, which is a lot of money, a hell of a lot of money.
"They said to me: 'We’re obsessed with Molly-Mae, we’d love her to be the face of our brand, we want her to work with us.'
"I thought, 'Brilliant!' and then I said to her, 'How do you feel about that?' She said no. I said: 'Why? You told me you want that house.'
"She said, 'No I don’t buy my clothes from there. I said to her: 'Well you can start! You can start buying clothes from there now.'"
Molly-Mae added: "Even when I came out of Love Island and that day when we sat with all those fashion brands, the money offer that I took wasn't actually the highest."
However, she has earned herself millions - this year signing a new £1million deal with fast-fashion brand Pretty Little Thing.
After she left the Love Island villa we reported how Molly secured a £500,000 deal with PLT. The following year an even more lucrative £600k deal came her way.
The Love Island star has been synonymous with the brand since shooting to fame on the ITV2 reality show alongside boyfriend Tommy Fury in 2019.
