Rylan Clark-Neal returning to TV on Strictly It Takes Two after marriage split
RYLAN Clark-Neal is returning to TV screens on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two.
The move comes after he took three months off following his split from husband Dan, 41.
Rylan, 32, will sit alongside Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara, 37, on the BBC2 show starting next month.
Zoe Ball, 50, quit It Takes Two in May.
A source said: “Rylan’s spent time away from the spotlight focusing on his wellbeing surrounded by friends and family.
“He’s now hopefully to make his return to telly as he’s missed working.
“It’s all looking positive and the team at It Takes Two always have a lot of fun filming. It’s a joyful show to work on.
“Of course, everyone backstage wants what’s best for Rylan and aren’t putting pressure on him.”
Rylan stepped back from Eurovision and his BBC Radio 2 show following the breakdown of his six-year marriage to policeman Dan in June.
He told fans: “I just wanted to write a message to thank you for all the love and kindness you have shown us.
"We are currently prioritising our mental health and looking after the ones around us we love most.
"I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love in due course.”
Rylan found fame as a 2012 X Factor contestant and won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, the year he met Dan.
The former Met detective is understood to have moved out of their home to a rented flat in Essex.
