GCSE results day: What the stars of EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale got in their exams
OUR favourite soaps stars may have found success on the telly - but what did they get in their GCSEs?
If you were hoping for straight As and ended up with far worse or missed out on a place at sixth form or college, it can be difficult to know what to do next.
Luckily, there are loads of famous faces who have been in the same situation and went on to achieve great things.
Coronation Street star Elle Mulvaney celebrated her GCSE results in 2019.
Elle - who has played Amy Barlow on the Cobbles since 2010 - shared her excellent results on social media.
Sharing a photo alongside her friends, she wrote: "GCSE RESULTS: Two 9s, Six 7s, Two 6s."
Although Elle achieved brilliant qualifications, there are some big names who didn't pass their GCSEs with flying colours but went on to be successful anyway.
Emmerdale's Danny Miller didn't get the GCSE results he wanted – but that didn't stop him.

Danny - who has played Aaron Dingle since 2008 - sent his support to the class of 2021 after he received his own results in 2017.
He wrote: "Best of luck to everyone getting their results today!
"If it helps, I got two.. R.E & Drama and I only scraped through Drama with a C."
Corrie's Jack P. Shepherd, who plays David Platt, also shared his surprising results in response to Danny's post.
He shared: "I failed drama!”
Meanwhile, EastEnders star Danny Dyer encouraged students to not feel disheartened if they didn't get the results they were hoping for.
Last year he was appointed as a history teacher after BBC Four introduced education segments to support GCSE and A-level courses during the Coronavirus pandemic.
He posted a meme: “Life is like a camera; just focus on what is important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, [and] if things don’t work out, take another shot!”
He also shared: “It's a message to say that GCSEs are not the be all and end all. Anything is possible. #believe."
