MARLON Dingle hits rock bottom as his card is declined as he tries to pay for April’s birthday party next week in Emmerdale.
The chef - who recently bought Charity Dingle’s share of the Woolpack pub - will go to great lengths to hide his money woes from Chas.
Marlon is unsettled when he receives a bad review and, when the reviewers return to the pub, he tries and fails to prove them wrong.
Later in the week, April tries to hide her sadness in front of Bob and Marlon on her birthday, before admitting to Cathy that she’s worried about her safety at home.
Opening an online card from her troll, April despairs and furiously responds to the troll.
Marlon is also sent into a spiral when the bill for April’s party turns out to be more than he was expecting and his card is declined.
Meanwhile, April regrets retaliating as she’s sent numerous abusive messages online.
Terrified for her life, April locks herself away as she worries the troll will turn up on her doorstep.
Paddy is thrown when Marlon admits the extent of his financial problems but begs him not to say anything to Chas.
