One fan wrote: "Joe Buck is terrible."
Another added: "Ugh I expected not to like Joe Buck as #Jeopardy host but this is beyond awful! STOP YELLING, dude!"
A third chimed in: "Having Joe Buck the super jock supporter on board in the midst of a soulless 'champion', whom he refers to as a 'hero' on the first question, is possibly the worst look has ever had. F**k this."
While one added: "Why #Jeopardy why? Joe Buck is AWFUL. He's best watched on mute."
The backlash continued, as another person commented: "Don’t quit your day job, Joe. (I’m NOT a fan of his delivery.)"

Others slammed Joe for not only his guest hosting role, but also his daytime job.
A critic commented: "Joe Buck ruins everything! First he ruins baseball, now he ruins #Jeopardy. WTF."

While taking to Twitter, James wrote: "Jeopardy says whoever hosts full time will have to quit their other job, so I’m crossing my fingers it’s Joe Buck."
